In the end, it’s a bit like life: you always have a choice, you can be guided by the light or choose to go up or down, with only your instincts to guide you. Amaury Dubois chose to make the whole thing more abstract<\/strong><\/a> to break the realism of the stairwell, to suggest the idea of light, of a vertical line that goes up or down.
